Girls' Generation / SNSD broke the all time record for most consecutive #1's with 8 when "Gee" was announced to be #1 on today's Music Bank. Jewelry held the previous record with 7 consecutive wins in 2008 with "One More Time." The girls were rumored to be banned from Music Bank with a quarrel between SM and KBS back in January, even despite this they won on the January 16th episode. They've been winning ever since, and if not for the ban they probably could have broke the record earlier. The girls seemed genuinely happy and were crying when they won.
