Sohee's contract with JYP Entertainment reaches expiration date

As mentioned before, Sohee has expressed her wishes to take on a change by pursuing a career in acting and decided not to renew her contract as the idol and member of Wonder Girls under JYPE. The agency mentioned back then that they were working with her to negotiate and that Sohee had not yet decided whether she wants to remain under the agency but as an actress, or to leave entirely for a new agency.

With her contract expiration date now here and curiosity surrounding her future activities rising, a source close to Sohee shared, "Following multiple discussions with her agency, it seems they decided to part ways peacefully for each other's sake... Although she will leave JYP Entertainment, she will continue to get along with her [JYPE] family whom she was under the same agency with for a long time."

Multiple insiders also mentioned that Sohee is leaving and looking into various agencies. However, there has been no word yet from JYP Entertainment outright confirming that she is indeed leaving the agency.
