IU's newest album, "REAL" has been released on the various Korean music portals. The special edition of the album was sold out during pre-orders which revealed the high anticipation for the album.
IU recruited some of Korea's top vocalists and producers such as Yoon Jong Shin, Kim Hyung Suk, Lee Min Soo, Kim Lee Na, Shin Sa Dong Tiger, and Choi Gab Won to work on the album. She also recruited MBLAQ's Thunder to sing a duet track for the album titled 'Merry Christmas in Advance.'
