On May 5, F.T. Island's Hongki appeared as a guest on MBC's 'Radio Star', marking his first official schedule since his return from mandatory service!

On this day, Hongki was asked how his relationship with FNC Entertainment's founder and president, Han Sung Ho, was these days. In the past, Hongki and Han Sung Ho garnered attention by appearing on 'Radio Star' on different occasions, engaging in a diss(?) battle.

MC Kim Gu Ra commented, "Everyone thought Hongki was the troublemaker of FNC, but it turns out, he's the model student. He has never become involved in any sort of scandals. He is officially the 'No Mess Zone' of FNC. So how is it going with Han Sung Ho these days?"

Hongki responded, "Right before I enlisted, it was time for F.T. Island to renew our contracts. Because of that, I had a lot of talks [with Hang Sung Ho]. I'd say we are on the path toward becoming best friends. Nowadays, we are both trying to be on good terms. I suppose FNC has finally kind of come to its senses too, after going through all kinds of things."

Hongki also talked about an interesting change he noticed on his renewal contract. He said, "I don't know if they put it in there because of 'Radio Star', but there was a clause that read, 'Do not defame the name and the image of FNC.' But apparently, from what I've heard, that kind of clause was in the contract all along, and I was the one who kind of ignored it. So it looks like they put it in really big letters this time."

Finally, Hongki shared some potential good news in the making! He revealed, "Many people have been asking me why FNC hasn't given me a 'shareholder' title yet. I think this became a big deal because of the news reports that Eunkwang (of BTOB) was named a 'shareholder' of his agency. But Eunkwang is my hoobae, so I can't say that I'm not a little disappointed about my own position in FNC. But I've heard some rumors around these days, and I think there will be good news soon."
