Group FIFTY FIFTY is set to remake the iconic track ‘Wish You Were Here’ by legendary rock band Pink Floyd.
The remake will be released on March 24 at 12 PM KST through major streaming platforms as part of a special project organized by Sony Music, commemorating Pink Floyd’s 60th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of the original song.
Rather than adding dramatic reinterpretations, FIFTY FIFTY focuses on preserving the emotional depth of the original me, delivering a sincere and heartfelt rendition through their soft, lyrical vocals.
The arrangement builds gradually from minimalism to a powerful climax, combining deep bass lines and sharp guitar sounds to create an immersive listening experience while showcasing the group’s expanding musical range.
Known for easy listening hits like ‘Cupid’, the group continues to gain global traction, with recent releases also charting internationally.
FIFTY FIFTY’s version of ‘Wish You Were Here’ will be available worldwide on March 24.
