Group CRAVITY has released a new Japanese album, showcasing a darker and more intense musical direction.
According to Starship Entertainment, the group dropped their latest Japanese release 'BLAST OUT' on March 18 KST. The album includes six tracks, featuring the title song of the same name along with ‘Koijanai? Don’t You Love Me?’, ‘Paradox’, and instrumental versions.
The title track Blast Out expresses the explosive release of complex emotions within oneself. Departing from their previous Japanese releases, the song stands out with its darker mood, driven by intense beats, powerful rap, and bold vocals.
In the accompanying music video, CRAVITY embraces a techwear inspired concept, navigating a surveillance filled setting while building tension through a countdown motif likening “blast out” to a ticking time bomb.
The album highlights the group’s versatility, with each track offering a distinct sound. Members Serim, Allen, and Woobin participated in writing lyrics, while Woobin also contributed to composing ‘Paradox,’ adding to the album’s artistic depth.
Since their official Japanese debut in 2023, CRAVITY has proven strong local popularity, topping Tower Records’ weekly chart and ranking high on Oricon.
To celebrate the release, the group will hold a mini performance event at Lalaport Toyosu on March 20, followed by solo concerts at Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on May 15 and 16, continuing their active engagement with global fans.
