A special edition dedicated to BTS has proven its explosive popularity, selling 7,000 copies in just one day ahead of the group’s highly anticipated comeback.
On March 17, fans gathered early in the morning at KG Tower in Jung-gu, Seoul, where the special edition published by Ilgan Sports was made available for offline purchase. Long lines formed even before sales began, reflecting the intense demand.
The special issue, released on March 16, compiles BTS’s journey from debut to present through photos and articles, increasing its collectible value. The excitement surrounding the group’s first full-group comeback in three years and nine months also contributed to the rapid sales.
Buyers ranged across various age groups and included international fans, highlighting BTS’s global influence. Information about sales locations quickly spread among fans online, further fueling the surge in demand.
The special edition was released to commemorate the upcoming event 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang', scheduled for March 21. Additional sales will continue at multiple locations in Seoul through March 20.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their new album Arirang globally on March 20, followed by a live comeback event at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21.
