Jennie of BLACKPINK drew attention after appearing visibly fatigued while surrounded by a crowd during her visit to Paris, France.
On March 9, the Instagram account “Vendetta Dailly” shared a short video of Jennie along with the caption, “Jennie spotted with fans in Paris.” The account, which has more than 580,000 followers, is known for sharing celebrity related news, including exclusive moments and videos involving public figures.
In the video, Jennie is seen walking through the streets of Paris while surrounded by a large group of people. Some individuals asked questions such as how her experience in Paris had been, while others cheered that her Chanel outfit suited her well. However, several people crowded closely in front of her, blocking her path and raising their voices to gain attention, which appeared to intrude on her personal space.
Jennie’s manager then asked the crowd for cooperation, saying, “If she signs autographs, can you please leave us alone afterward?” Jennie also politely requested understanding, saying, “Could I have some time to myself today?” She added that the situation felt “very stressful” for her.

Afterward, Jennie signed autographs for fans but seemed overwhelmed by the continued requests. At one point she asked people to “please keep the promise.” When some individuals who had already received autographs requested another, her manager intervened. She also politely declined requests for photos.
Following the release of the video, reactions among global fans were mixed. Some criticized her attitude, commenting that celebrities should respect fans since they would not exist without them.
Others defended her, saying that her personal space should be respected. Many pointed out that she still took time to sign autographs despite the stressful situation, while some suggested that individuals blocking her path for signatures might not be genuine fans but people hoping to resell autographs.
Meanwhile, Jennie departed for Paris via Incheon International Airport on March 7 to attend the Chanel Fall Winter 2026 Ready to Wear Show as a global ambassador for the brand.
The Chanel Fall Winter 2026 Ready to Wear collection show Jennie is set to attend will take place in Paris at 7 PM local time on March 9.
