Ningning went live to communicate with fans while celebrating International Women’s Day. Appearing without makeup, she chatted casually during the broadcast when a commenter wrote that she looked “ugly without makeup,” drawing criticism from viewers.
Rather than reacting emotionally, Ningning addressed the comment directly. She said, “So what? This is how I look,” adding that it was strange for someone to criticize another person’s appearance while she was talking about accepting oneself and growing.
She continued, “Telling someone they’re ugly isn’t cool. Everyone looks different. It might not be your personal preference, but instead of saying ‘you’re ugly,’ it’s better to spend that time listening to a song.”
Her candid response quickly drew praise from fans, who applauded the singer for confidently addressing the comment and promoting self acceptance.
