Seok Matthew and Park Gun Wook of ZEROBASEONE are set to make a fresh start with WakeOne.
On February 9, WakeOne announced, “Following mutual discussions with their previous agency regarding Seok Matthew and Park Gun Wook’s future activities, we have finalized their new beginning under WakeOne.”
The agency explained, “Throughout the discussion process, we conducted an in-depth review of the two artists’ future direction and growth potential. Based on shared understanding and trust, we ultimately decided on this transfer.”
WakeOne added, “We are delighted to welcome the two as new colleagues. We will spare no effort in supporting them so they can fully showcase their abilities in a stable environment and continue building long-term careers.”
Seok Matthew and Park Gun Wook debuted in 2023 as members of ZEROBASEONE and have been active as leading artists of K-pop’s fifth generation. Even after the group’s contract concludes, the two will continue their journey with WakeOne.
Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE is set to disband next month following the expiration of its agency contract. The group will hold an encore concert from March 13 to 15 at Seoul’s KSPO Dome, marking the grand finale of its world tour.
