Shin Ji Yeon has opened up about her thoughts on appearing on Netflix’s hit dating reality show 'Single’s Inferno.'
On February 8, a video titled “Was Single’s Inferno Really Four Years Ago? + Osaka Vlog” was uploaded to her YouTube channel.
Through on-screen captions, Shin Ji Yeon shared, “These days, whether it’s YouTube or other work, I’m navigating through a lot of contemplations and responsibilities. Since it’s my first time doing many of these things, I’m studying, getting help, and gradually finding a sense of fulfillment.”
She also updated fans on her recent visit to Paradise City Hotel in Incheon, famously known as the filming location for “Paradise” on Single’s Inferno.
“I’m back at Paradise Hotel after a long time,” Shin Ji Yeon said. “'Single’s Inferno 5' is airing right now, so it brought back memories from when I filmed the show. It’s been nearly five years since I appeared on it.”

Reflecting on her age at the time, she added, “I was 25 when I filmed 'Single’s Inferno.' Back then, I thought 25 meant you were a full-fledged adult. But now that I’m 30, I look back and think, ‘Where did I even find the courage to go on that show?’ I think I went on so carefree because I was young and didn’t know much.”
Shin also shared candid thoughts about rewatching clips from the show. “Sometimes videos from 'Single’s Inferno' pop up, and it doesn’t even feel like it’s me. I keep wondering, ‘Why did I style myself like that?’” she laughed. “I think about whether I would have shown a better version of myself if I went on now, but at the same time, that atmosphere and vibe could only exist because it was me at that age.”
Meanwhile, Shin Ji Yeon first rose to public attention after appearing on 'Single’s Inferno' Season 1, which aired in 2021.
