Hyeri has provided an update on the status of legal action being taken against malicious online commenters.
On the 5th, her agency, Sublime, released an official statement, saying, “We are currently pursuing legal action against illegal acts targeting Hyeri, including online defamation, insults, sexual harassment, and the spread of false information.”
According to the agency, criminal complaints were filed against malicious commenters on two occasions between 2024 and 2025. The identities of multiple suspects have since been confirmed, and the cases have been transferred to the relevant police stations.
Some of the suspects have reportedly already been forwarded to prosecutors on charges such as insult. The agency stated, “Through continuous monitoring and evidence collection, we will respond immediately to any additional illegal activities.”
The statement concluded with a firm stance: “There will be no leniency or settlements under any circumstances. We will respond resolutely until the end to eradicate criminal acts against our artists.”
Meanwhile, Hyeri is set to appear in Netflix’s variety series 'Agents of Mystery season 2,' which will be released on the 27th.
