ChoCo Entertainment has confirmed that unit ChoCo1 members Yechun and Taejo will join its first family project album, ‘ChoCo La Familia.’
On February 14 and 15, the agency unveiled concept photos for Yechun and Taejo’s family album double title track “GIMME,” officially kicking off comeback promotions. The news of their participation has heightened anticipation, especially after the two showcased impressive skills beyond their years on the survival program ‘Boys Planet 2’ last year.
ChoCo1 is a male unit composed of Yechun and Taejo, a creator duo who have been producing their own music and choreography since childhood. For this family album as well, the two members are set to take part in songwriting and production, once again proving their musical capabilities.
In the released concept photos, Yechun embodied a bold, unapologetic swag, exuding confidence and a free spirited energy. His bold energy and hip mood combined to radiate a distinct presence, raising expectations for the musical spectrum he will showcase on the album.
Taejo, on the other hand, embraced the concept of “an unexpected twist of quirky charm,” presenting a contrasting atmosphere. With his unique sensibility and unpredictable appeal, he amplified his charm and added a surprising twist.
‘ChoCo La Familia,’ which is drawing attention with the addition of Yechun and Taejo, will feature a total of five tracks, including double title tracks “GIMME” and “FRENZY,” as well as “What’s Your Wish,” “ZZAN,” and “On The Street.” The duo has also teased a duet track, further heightening fans’ interest.
Produced by Cho PD, ChoCo Entertainment’s first family album ‘ChoCo La Familia’ will be released on the 24th at 6 PM KST through various online music platforms. A fan showcase will be held on the day of release, and it will also be available via live streaming on YouTube.
