Actress Shin Se Kyung captivated attention with her elegant yet alluring look as she attended the production press conference for the upcoming film 'Humint'.
Held on January 12 at Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Seoul, the event introduced Humint, a highly anticipated film scheduled for release during the 2026 Lunar New Year holiday. Directed by Ryoo Seung Wan, the movie marks the final chapter of his overseas-location trilogy following 'The Berlin File' and 'Escape from Mogadishu'. With a star-studded cast including Jo In Sung, Park Jung Min, Park Hae Joon, and Shin Se Kyung, the project has already drawn strong interest.
At the press conference, Shin Se Kyung stood out in a black off-shoulder dress featuring soft draping that naturally traced her silhouette. The subtly glossy fabric shimmered under the lights, enhancing her calm yet sophisticated aura. The off-shoulder design gently highlighted her neckline and collarbone, emphasizing her refined femininity.
She completed the look with a low bun hairstyle, slim gold earrings, and strap heels, creating a restrained yet luxurious styling that balanced elegance with quiet sensuality.
'Humint' is set in Vladivostok, where secrets and truths alike sink into the cold icy sea. The film follows characters with conflicting goals as they collide in a tense narrative. Shin Se Kyung plays Chae Sun Hwa, an employee at a North Korean restaurant in Vladivostok, signaling a fresh transformation in her acting career.
Notably, 'Humint' marks Shin Se Kyung’s return to the big screen for the first time in 12 years since 'Tazza: The Hidden Card' (2014). Sharing her thoughts, she said, “It feels even more exciting to greet audiences after 12 years with a great project alongside a wonderful director and respected seniors and juniors. I think this will be the first time viewers see this side of me on the big screen.”
She added, “Sun Hwa is a character who becomes a key figure within relationships. While she moves with her own purpose, I focused on creating harmony with each character within the situation.”
'Humint' is set to hit theaters on February 11.
