RIIZE's Shotaro has personally addressed dating rumors with aespa's Giselle.

Initially, Shotaro ignored the messages and continued to spend quality time with fans. However, with persistent mention of Giselle, Shotaro eventually addressed the rumors by saying, "We don't have that kind of relationship." He explained, "There are a lot of the same strange comments since earlier, saying 'Did you date Giselle?' We don't have that kind of relationship. She's my senior at the same company, and we're just close friends. It's not that kind of relationship. Please don't misunderstand."
Meanwhile, Shotaro recently became the subject of dating rumors after online users alleged that he was video-calling Giselle. The speculation began when a fan claimed to have spotted Shotaro on a video call, noting that the background curtains behind the male figure closely resembled those seen in Shotaro’s home. Additionally, the woman on the call was said to resemble Giselle, with fans pointing out similarities in her appearance, including nail art that appeared consistent with Giselle’s style.
