A woman identified as 'A,' often referred to as the so-called “injection aunt,” accused of providing illegal medical treatment to comedian Park Na Rae, has once again voiced her grievances following the broadcast of SBS’s investigative program 'Unanswered Questions.'
On January 27, 'A' posted an image on her personal social media account featuring a scene from the tvN drama 'Signal,' accompanied by the caption, “Lies. Don’t false informants owe an apology?” She later edited the caption but continued to post messages conveying the same sentiment.
The image showed a dark-toned scene overlaid with subtitles from 'Signal.' The background music selected for the post was a track titled “Between Lies and Truth,” prompting speculation that 'A' was indirectly commenting on her current situation.
'A' has also recently used social media to openly criticize the production team of 'Unanswered Questions.' She claimed, “In the end, 'Unanswered Questions' has no facts, just gossip,” adding that it felt like “an upgraded version of 'Curious Stories Y'.” She further alleged manipulative editing, saying, “I asked them not to splice conversations with my husband to make them look like interviews, but they used hidden cameras anyway. When I said the informant was not a board-certified plastic surgeon, they changed the on-screen caption to ‘doctor.’”
She went on to describe prolonged distress caused by the program’s coverage, stating, “They contacted and visited me repeatedly starting last December, and even showed up on New Year’s Day, which led to the police being called.” 'A' also claimed severe psychological suffering, revealing that she had "attempted to take her own life" as a result.
Meanwhile, 'A' has been formally booked without detention on charges of violating the Medical Service Act and the Act on the Control of Health Crimes. Police are currently investigating the case, having imposed a travel ban and carried out search and seizure operations at her residence and vehicle. Authorities are examining confiscated medications, injection equipment, and an alleged client ledger believed to contain the names of multiple celebrities, as they probe whether illegal injections were administered habitually and whether additional individuals were involved.
Previously, Park Na Rae was embroiled in allegations that she received injections and prescription drugs from 'A,' who allegedly does not hold a medical license. Park’s agency denied the claims, stating, “She only received nutritional IV treatment from licensed medical professionals, and there was no illegal medical activity involved.”
