Former Wonder Girls member and actress Ahn So Hee shared updates on her recent activities and future plans in a candid interview.
On March 26, the YouTube channel Life84 released a video titled 'Actress Ahn So Hee,' in which host Kian84 invited Ahn So Hee for an in-depth conversation about her life and career.
Ahn So Hee revealed, “Until recently, I was performing in a play called 'Still Today 2: Flower Shoes,' which ended last month.” She explained that the play was particularly demanding. “It was a two-person play, and each of us played four roles. It took a lot of physical and emotional energy,” she said. When Kian84 teased that she might be a bit physically fragile, she laughed and admitted, “I wasn’t born naturally strong.”
Discussing her future plans, Ahn So Hee said she intends to take a break. “I haven’t had much personal time lately. From last fall until last month, I was only doing theater,” she shared. She also mentioned wanting to travel and work on her YouTube channel. She revealed plans for a month-long stay in Europe, which she called a personal bucket list goal.
When asked if she still wants to sing, Ahn So Hee stated, “I have shifted my focus entirely to acting now.” She added, “I don’t regret or feel disappointed about leaving singing, but I do miss it sometimes. I enjoyed being on stage, in concerts, events, and music shows, but I have channeled that energy into theater.” She continued, “The energy you get from singing and acting is different. Theater requires quiet focus, but it has fulfilled me in a similar way. I started acting two years ago and have been continuously performing since.”
Ahn So Hee’s words highlight her dedication to her craft and her clear focus on her acting career while embracing new experiences outside the spotlight.
