ENHYPEN’s Sunghoon will take part as a torchbearer for the upcoming Winter Olympics set to be held next month.
On January 23, BELIFT LAB confirmed the news in a phone call with Dispatch, stating, “Sunghoon will participate in the torch relay for the '25th Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics.'”
Sunghoon was appointed as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee in May of last year. Drawing from his background as a former figure skating national reserve athlete prior to his debut, he has actively worked to promote the importance of everyday sports and physical activity.
He also attended the Winter Olympics athletes’ send-off ceremony held on January 22 at the Olympic Parktel in Seoul, where he delivered warm messages of encouragement to the Korean national team.
Meanwhile, the '25th Milan–Cortina Winter Olympics' will take place from February 6 to February 22 (local time) across Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy.
