ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1) is generating an enthusiastic response in China. The group partnered with QQ Music, the largest music platform in China, to launch massive pop-up events for their debut mini-album 'EUPHORIA' at three major shopping malls.
These large-scale events, taking place in Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou, have seen a constant stream of local fans and are scheduled to run until January 18, 2026. In Guangzhou specifically, fans formed long queues in anticipation of the album's release time, showcasing the group's significant local popularity. The pop-ups boasted expansive layouts, featuring photo zones, life-size cutouts of each member, and a signing wall. The venues were also integrated with LED screens at subway exits and four-sided LED pillars, immersing the shopping malls in the excitement of ALPHA DRIVE ONE's debut. Participatory programs, such as limited-edition merchandise giveaways, further heightened the local atmosphere.

On the commercial front, ALPHA DRIVE ONE solidified their influence by reaching number 2 on the QQ Music Digital Album Sales Chart. Feedback from Chinese-language media has also been overwhelmingly positive. Yahoo Taiwan reported that the group demonstrated a 'rare digital music performance for a rookie group,' with every track entering the Melon TOP100. The outlet also praised their 'stable live vocals and high-level performance' showcased on major awards stages even before their official debut.
Other media outlets noted that 'EUPHORIA' has 'opened a new horizon for K-pop catharsis' and described the group as a 'syndrome-level rookie' garnering immense interest. Having officially debuted on January 12, 2026, as the first group to debut in the new year, ALPHA DRIVE ONE intends to maintain their momentum through active global promotions.
