Key (Kim Kibum) of SHINee has been swept up in controversy after an online connection was discovered between him and A, the so-called “injection aunt” associated with comedian Park Na Rae.
Park Na Rae has already faced backlash over allegations of mistreating her former manager, and the situation escalated when suspicions surfaced that she had received illegal medical procedures from A, who is known as an unlicensed “injection aunt.”
On December 8th KST, the organization Doctors for a Fair Society stated, “A, known as Park Na Rae’s ‘injection aunt,’ denied performing illegal medical procedures and claimed to have previously served as a professor at Inner Mongolia’s ‘Fugang Medical University Hospital.’ However, upon verification, no such medical university exists.”
The Korean Medical Association also commented on the 8th, emphasizing, “Under the Medical Service Act, individuals without a medical license cannot perform any form of medical procedure in Korea. What occurred in this case is an illegal treatment distinct from lawful medical practice, and it should not be misrepresented as a type of home-visit care.”
Amid these developments, photos and tags on A’s Instagram showing a link to SHINee’s Key have intensified the controversy.
A had previously uploaded videos of two dogs named Comme Des and Garçons—a brown poodle and a gray poodle. These dogs match the pets Key has frequently shown on broadcasts, including MBC’s I Live Alone, raising questions about Key’s connection to A.
Additionally, A tagged a luxury villa in the UN Village in Hannam-dong—the residence where Key lived for the past four years—further fueling speculation.
In December of last year, A also uploaded a photo of Comme Des, writing, “It’s been over 10 years, why are you still glaring at me?”—a caption that drew attention for its emphasis on their long-term relationship. After suspicions of her connection to Key arose, A deleted all related posts.
Key had previously introduced his mother—who worked as a nurse for 37 years—on 'I Live Alone' and even attended her retirement ceremony on the show. Because of this, the mere mention of his name in the current controversy has shocked the public. SM Entertainment has not released any statement regarding the matter.
