BTS released a live performance video for 'SWIM' on the official YouTube channel on March 29(KST). The video was filmed at Sunhyewon, utilizing lighting effects to highlight the choreography and the traditional aesthetic of the location. This release follows the launch of their 5th full-length album, 'ARIRANG', which debuted at 6 PM KST on March 20, 2026, to reflect the group's roots and current sentiments.
The album 'ARIRANG' has achieved significant commercial success, recording 4,169,464 copies in first-week sales according to Hanteo Chart, marking a new personal best for BTS. The title track 'SWIM' held the #1 position on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' for eight consecutive days from March 20 to March 27 KST. On the UK Official Charts, the album entered the 'Official Albums Top 100' at #1, while the single reached #2 on the 'Official Singles Top 100'.
Members of BTS are promoting the album through several YouTube channels. Jin appeared on 'Life 84', Jimin on 'Hot Issue Ji', and j-hope on 'Finding Kani'. RM and SUGA participated in 'EpicKase', while RM and V appeared on 'BDNS'. Additionally, a new episode of 'Fairy Table' featuring V as also been released as part of the ongoing promotional schedule for the new album.
