Actress Sung Yuri made her long-awaited return to television after nearly two years.
On November 4, tvN’s variety show 'A Hard Day' aired a special episode focused on dieting. The episode began with actor Han Sang Jin, who arrived first at the filming location. Brimming with confidence, he said, “I’m in great form today. I’m the trend. I wasn’t nervous at all this morning. I just felt excited.”
Soon after, Sung Yuri appeared and greeted Han Sang Jin warmly. She said, “It’s been so long, over ten years! You haven’t changed at all. Are you a frozen man?” Han replied playfully, “You’ve gotten even prettier. I wasn’t frozen, I was kept in deep freeze for ten years and finally thawed out.”
When Sung Yuri remarked, “You’re quite the trend in variety shows these days,” Han jokingly said, “Please say that a few more times.” Amused, Sung Yuri shouted, “The trend of variety shows! Han Sang Jin!” Han smiled proudly and said, “That’s me.”
Sung Yuri recently attracted attention in October during a home shopping broadcast where she showcased a new look with full bangs, marking a fresh change from her previous style. She married former professional golfer Ahn Sung Hyun in 2017 and gave birth to twin daughters in 2022. She later paused her activities when Ahn became involved in a cryptocurrency fraud case.
In June, the Seoul High Court’s 13th Criminal Division approved Ahn’s bail request, leading to his release. Following that, Sung Yuri resumed her professional activities, first appearing on a home shopping program in May and now returning to television.
