News outlet Joynews24 conducted a survey with 110 entertainment industry insiders, asking them to choose the best and worst of 2025. Below are the survey results for the worst K-dramas of 2025.
Out 110 participants, 28 chose the KBS2/Disney+ drama series 'Twelve', voting it in 1st place. Initially, 'Twelve' garnered significant attention as a series co-produced by and starring Ma Dong Seok. It also raised anticipation as a distinctly Korean "superhero" genre, reinventing the East Asian folk tradition of the 12 zodiacs. However, upon release, the drama drew criticism for its poor CG quality and shallow character development. It's viewership ratings began at around 8% (Nielsen Korea) then plummeted to the 2% range by its final episode.

In 2nd place, a total of 15 votes went to the tvN drama 'When The Stars Gossip' starring Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin. Despite its astronomical production budget of 50 billion KRW (~ 35 million USD) and lengthy production period (5 years), the drama failed to appeal to viewers as more than a generic love story set in space. It concluded with a viewership rating of 2.6%.

The survey participants then voted for Netflix's 'Squid Game 3' in 3rd place, the Disney+ original series 'Tempest' in 4th place, the MBC youth romance series 'Crushology 101' in 5th place, and more.
