Kian84 is once again pushing his limits.
MBC’s new variety show ‘Extreme 84’, premiering on the 30th, has released a teaser video capturing Kian84’s attempt at an ultra-extreme marathon challenge. ‘Extreme 84’ follows Kian84 as he takes on unimaginable courses far beyond the standard 42.195 km marathon distance, running through harsh natural environments in this “ultra-extreme” running variety program.
The teaser released on the 24th ahead of the premiere opens with Kian84 reacting in disbelief, asking, “You want me to run this?”
The footage shows rugged terrain, barren landscapes, and remote wilderness areas that seem nearly impossible to run through. The production team revealed that the first marathon of the season takes place in a remote desert region, hinting at a grueling running experience in extreme conditions.
“This isn’t just a marathon,” the production team said. “‘Extreme 84’ is a survival-style running challenge that forces you to collide with the raw elements of nature. We will capture the full reality of what Kian84 experiences on site.”
