Mnet’s popular K-pop chart show ‘M! Countdown’ will not air on October 30 as it enters its year-end break. The 911th episode is scheduled to be broadcast at a later date.
Since September 2023, Sung Han Bin of ZEROBASEONE served as the show’s 21st MC. From January of last year, Sohee of RIIZE and Jaehyun of BOYNEXTDOOR were appointed as the 22nd MCs to co-host the program.
Following the February 27 broadcast, Sohee stepped down to focus on RIIZE’s activities. From the March 6 episode (878th), the show has been hosted by Sung Han Bin and Jaehyun as a two-person MC team, until they both left their positions after the October 3 broadcast.
Currently, the show does not have permanent MCs and is airing with special MCs. On the October 23 broadcast, Jaehyun, Riwoo, and Leehan joined as special MCs.
‘M! Countdown’ is a weekly world K-pop chart show that tracks the latest global trends in K-pop through digital music, albums, and social media performance. Weekly voting for the #1 spot is conducted on the show’s official website, and pre-voting results are included in the chart rankings. In the latest broadcast on October 2 (910th episode), NMIXX’s “Blue Valentine” took the top position.
The show airs every Thursday at 6 PM KST on Mnet.
