Joohoney of MONSTA X will headline the new web variety series ‘Simcheong-i’, promising feel-good chaos as he takes on viewers’ real-life requests.
According to the YouTube channel Nakta Jeonyongdoro, the first episode of ‘Simcheong-i’—short for a Korean phrase meaning “request your errands here”—will debut on Oct. 17, 2025 KST. Built as a life-on-the-street format, the show fields submissions and has Joohoney carry them out himself.
In the premiere, Joohoney answers a plea from a twenty-something who has lived in Seoul for three years and wants help making neighborhood friends. Roaming busy streets, Joohoney calls out, "Anyone need a neighborhood friend?" but runs into unpredictable replies—"My boyfriend wouldn’t be okay with a male friend," "I’ve already got plans,"—and keeps pushing through the setbacks with humor. When a passerby jokes they already know ‘Simcheong-i’, Joohoney shoots back, "We’re filming episode one right now!"—a quick riff that sets the show’s playful tone.

A teaser released Oct. 10, 2025 KST shows Joohoney in hanbok to match ‘Simcheong-i’’s concept. Before the main errands begin, producers ask him to promote the show, and he hustles solo through Hongdae, pitching the program to people of all ages and backgrounds—showing off the easy banter and social agility that anchor the format.
Across episodes, Joohoney transforms into the all-purpose helper “Simcheong-i,” handling everything from small favors—"Please get rid of this bug"—to over-the-top requests like "Cover my job for a day." Each task ends with a satisfaction score that converts to “tribute rice,” which ‘Simcheong-i’ plans to donate to causes in need, pairing laughs with a charitable finish.
‘Simcheong-i’ premieres Oct. 17, 2025 KST and will release new episodes every Friday on the cameldoro YouTube channel.
