tvN’s popular variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' has issued a warning to the public after reports surfaced of individuals impersonating the show’s production team.
On September 2, the program posted an official notice on social media titled 'Official Guidance on Similar Interview Incidents,' alerting followers to the fraudulent activities.
A spokesperson explained, “Recently, there have been cases on university campuses and elsewhere where people claiming to be from 'You Quiz on the Block' have conducted street interviews and requested personal information. We are concerned about these incidents.”
The statement emphasized that these actions are not affiliated with the show. “During our street interviews, the 'You Quiz on the Block' production team only asks for a participant’s name, age, and occupation. No other personal information is requested,” the spokesperson clarified.
The team urged the public to exercise caution when approached for interviews or direct messages (DMs) asking for personal information, and requested that any similar incidents be reported.

Recently, there have been incidents on university campuses and elsewhere where individuals claiming to be from 'You Quiz on the Block' requested personal information during street interviews.
Please be aware that these interviews are not affiliated with our program. The production team only asks for participants’ name, age, and occupation. We never request additional personal information such as phone numbers or addresses.
Please exercise caution with interviews or DMs that request personal information. If you encounter or are contacted in such situations, we ask that you report it through the customer center menu at the bottom of the CJ ENM official website.
