IU is once again warming hearts with her affection toward young actors.
Recently, child actress Ahn Tae-rin shared several photos on social media with the caption: “IU, the actress full of love who’s known for welcoming and treating child actors with great kindness.”
In the photos, Ahn Tae Rin is seen attending IU’s recent fan meetup event, where she had the opportunity to take pictures with the singer. Her mother wrote in a follow-up post, “During the fan meetup, when Tae Rin saw behind-the-scenes clips of 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' featuring herself and her photos, she was so happy she couldn’t stop fidgeting in her seat and was deeply moved.”
She continued, “Wherever she goes, she proudly says she loves IU. As a successful Uaena (IU fan), Tae Rin truly admires and cherishes her. During the concert, she waved her lightstick, sang along, and had the time of her life. On the way home, she said she was so happy and promised to work hard to grow up and become like IU.”
The post concluded with, “Thank you for giving us a moment that will remain in our hearts forever.”
Meanwhile, IU previously made headlines on Children’s Day for giving gifts to the child actors of 'When Life Gives You Tangerines', showing continued care. It was also reported that she gave Kim Tae Yeon, who played young Ae-soon, helpful tips on dress and hair styling before a major awards ceremony.
