Netizens have realized that ALLDAY PROJECT's Annie is the niece of Go Hyun Jung's ex-husband after she pressed a 'Like' on an Instagram post featuring the idol.
On an online forum, attention turned to a particular 'Like' from actress Go Hyun Jung on Instagram. The post came from W Korea's official account and featured Annie as the cover model for the magazine's digital issue.
Following this online interaction, netizens realized that Annie is in fact Go Hyun Jung's former niece from her marriage to ex-husband Chung Yong Jin, who is the older brother of Annie's mother, Chung Yoo Kyung, chairwoman of Shinsegae.
While some netizens were cautious about bringing up Go Hyun Jung's past marriage into the Shinsegae chaebol family, others argued it is "perfectly natural" for her to feel affection toward Annie since she had seen her as a baby. They also noted that Go Hyun Jung's two children, born in 1998 and 2000, are reportedly close to Annie as blood-related cousins.
