Choi Si Hun shared a glimpse of his newlywed life with Ailee as he acted as her one-day manager and accompanied her throughout her schedule.
On their official YouTube channel, Ailee and Choi Si Hun recently uploaded a video titled 'I almost lost my wife...'. In it, Choi Si Hun followed Ailee’s daily schedule, spending the entire day by her side. Setting foot for the first time in the space where Ailee prepares for her activities, he looked around with curiosity, observing the company with wide-eyed interest.
While filming Ailee during her makeup session, Choi Si Hun remarked, "You’re so pretty. Is it because the lighting here is good? You look even prettier than usual," proudly showing off his affection as a husband. In turn, Ailee playfully embarrassed him by showing his candid photos to her stylist and boasting, "Isn’t he so cute?" which made everyone burst into laughter.
As they traveled to the event location, the couple reflected on Ailee’s recent performance in South Africa. Ailee, the first K-pop solo artist to perform there, had faced unexpected landing issues caused by a typhoon. Recalling the incident, Choi Si Hun admitted, "That’s when I developed separation anxiety."
After returning from South Africa, Ailee continued her schedule without taking a break and revealed that she developed an ear infection, leaving her unable to hear in one ear. "And right now, when I laugh or do something, I get dizzy," she added, explaining her ongoing health struggles.
When Ailee expressed concern about her performance, saying, "I don’t know how it’ll go when I perform later," Choi Si Hun reassured her, "I’ll be standing backstage, and if you get dizzy, I’ll run right over to catch you," once again showing his devotion.
Later, seeing Ailee eat a quick meal in the car while moving between schedules, Choi Si Hun said, "Eating like this in the car... it breaks my heart. Let’s go home later and have something delicious for dinner," offering both comfort and care.
Netizens who watched the video reacted warmly, leaving comments such as, "Ailee’s face has brightened so much after marriage," and "It’s so heartwarming to see Si Hoon going with her and taking care of her."
Meanwhile, Ailee and Choi Si Hun tied the knot last August. Choi Si Hoon is a businessman three years her junior and a former cast member of Netflix’s 'Single’s Inferno.'
