On March 22, EVERGLOW successfully wrapped up their two-day ‘RE: CODE’ kickoff shows in Seoul, South Korea. Sporting stylish brown-and-black ensembles, members E:U, SIHYEON, ONDA, and AISHA delivered high-energy performances of their greatest hits, including “Bon Bon Chocolat,” ”DUN DUN,” “LA DI DA,” “Adios,” and “SLAY.”
The quartet also debuted live versions of tracks from their latest mini-album, ‘CODE,’ featuring the title track of the same name, “FOCUS,” “Can’t Be Broken,” and “BREAKOUT.” As the show drew to a close, the members shared heartfelt messages of gratitude with the fans who gathered to support their return to the stage.
AISHA: “We have done about two Seoul concerts up until today, and I am so grateful to everyone for staying with us until the very end. And to our FOREVER (EVERGLOW’s fandom name), who always love and cheer for EVERGLOW so much—we love you even more, and I hope you stay by our side for the rest of our lives. We will return quickly with a new album, so let's meet again then. Thank you.”
ONDA: “Following yesterday, we’ve held our second performance here in Seoul. Even though it was the second night, you cheered and shouted so loudly for us. It gave me so much strength, and I had so much fun that I didn't even realize how the time went by. Everyone, while we are on our world tour, we will work hard to prepare the next songs as well. You’ll keep loving us without forgetting us until then, right? Thank you for making such special memories today. I love you.”
E:U: “To be honest, regarding this first Seoul concert, I worried a lot and also had high expectations for it. But because you all came out like this, you gave us so much strength. Actually, among those here, there are many people from overseas as well. So, I am saying thank you once again for coming from so far away to cheer for us. Also, so that we can become a girl group with a long-lasting career, please keep cheering for us energetically until the end, and we will try to live up to that longevity. Thank you.”
SIHYEON: “We will do our best to finish the world tour successfully and come back. We are preparing to show various sides of ourselves even after the tour ends, so I hope you look forward to that a lot. It’s going to be a music project with a completely different mood from our previous work, so please wait just a little longer, and we’ll be back after a great tour. Everyone, thank you for coming today, and I love you.”
EVERGLOW’s ‘RE: CODE’ world tour is heading to North America, with confirmed stops in New York, Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Calgary. The group will continue touring through Canada, Latin America, and Europe until May; however, specific dates for the European and Asian legs of the tour have yet to be announced.
