Lee Si Young, who is currently pregnant with her second child, has come under fire for displaying poor etiquette at a restaurant overseas.
On August 6, Lee Si Young posted a video on her social media, saying, "This is such a beautiful restaurant in Long Island beach," adding, "You must visit if you come to the U.S. My son was so sad, saying he wanted to stay in the U.S. longer."
Lee Si Young's social media post quickly drew criticism from Korean netizens as they pointed out that the actress was displaying poor manners. In the video, Si Young's son was wandering around the restaurant, and the other patrons seemed to be bothered by her child constantly moving around. They were seen looking at Lee Si Young's son multiple times.
Additionally, Lee Si Young posted the video without blurring out the other customer's face. The foreign woman in the video, seemingly uncomfortable with being filmed, even looked directly at the camera at one point.
Netizens criticized the post with comments including, "The foreign woman in front seems uncomfortable, so I couldn’t even appreciate the scenery," "The angle shows the foreign woman more than Lee Si Young herself," "I’m shocked she uploaded this without even blurring the lady's face," "Beautiful view, but poor manners," "This is exactly the type of behavior you don't want to see at a restaurant," "Having lived abroad, I’ve noticed that children rarely leave their seats while dining," and "Teaching table manners is important."

Meanwhile, Lee Si Young recently made headlines earlier this year when she revealed she had become pregnant without the consent of her ex-husband, following their divorce.
In March, Lee announced she had ended her eight-year marriage to a businessman. Four months later, she revealed her second pregnancy. At the time, Lee Si Young explained, “Around the time all legal matters from the divorce were being finalized, the expiration date for my frozen embryo was approaching, so I made the decision to proceed with the implantation myself.” She added, “Although the other party did not agree, I intend to take full responsibility for my decision.” Her ex-husband stated that he “did not consent to the pregnancy” but said he “would take responsibility.”
Having completed a one-month stay in the U.S., Lee Si Young is now reportedly preparing to give birth in Korea.
