Singer Jeong Se Woon took to social media to commemorate eight years into his singing career.
He thanks fans through stylish posters, including the sweet message of gratitude: “For the last eight years, I couldn’t be more grateful for the time LUCKY [fandom name] and I have had together.” Contrastingly, he adds a casual caption expressing his excitement: “Wow, it’s my eighth debut anniversaryyyyyyyyyyy”.

While Jeong Se Woon officially debuted in 2017, he came to the spotlight in 2013 as a contestant in the third season of the hit singing talent show ‘K-pop Star’, which boasts alums like AKMU, Lee Hi, Sam Kim, and Bang Ye Dam. He auditioned with his self-penned track “Mom, Wait a Minute,” accompanied by his guitar strumming and unpolished appearances, establishing his singer-songwriter image and comparisons to AKMU, who won the second season. His official debut with the EP ‘Ever’ came on August 31, 2017, kickstarting his career with promising results on the charts.

Coinciding with his eight debut anniversary, Jeong Se Woon has new music slated for release—the digital single “Colors.” This marks a comeback four months after his last release, the EP ‘Brut’. The latest ‘The Uncolored Trailer’ for the track goes for a low-resolution and grainy look, with highlights of glistening on his hair, from marbles, night lights, and reflection on metal. The singer appears broody with the grungy sound in the backdrop, deviating from his usual fresh-faced image.
“Colors” will be released at 6 PM on September 2 (KST), on all major streaming platforms.
