Actress Chun Woo Hee opened up about how she came to appear in Jay Park’s “Remedy” music video.
On the August 30 KST episode of the YouTube show “Yoo Yeon Seok’s Weekend Theater”, Chun appeared as a guest alongside actor Song Joong Ki. During the talk, Chun recalled the behind-the-scenes story of her surprise cameo in Jay Park’s MV.
“I genuinely love watching live performances by musicians. It’s something I really enjoy,” she shared. “At the Blue Dragon Series Awards, I was seated in the front row and wanted to respond with the best reaction I could. I always think, if I were in their shoes on stage, I’d want that kind of energy from the audience.”
Chun added, “I had the perfect view—it was even better than watching through the camera. I was having so much fun, and Jay Park was amazing. We had met before at a brand event, and he remembered how much I enjoyed his stage. During the awards ceremony, he even held my hand longer and performed in front of me. It was his way of saying thank you.”
That genuine interaction led to an unexpected opportunity. “He later reached out and offered me a role in his music video. I was happy to accept,” Chun said, smiling.
