Upcoming Disney+ series 'Tempest' starring Jun Ji Hyun x Kang Dong Won already causing a stir with its unbelievable casting

In 2025, Disney+ is set to make waves with its slate of Korean original dramas, capturing the attention of audiences worldwide with just a short teaser video. Among the lineup, 'Tempest' has already sparked explosive reactions thanks to its “legendary casting,” “unbelievable two-shot,” and comparisons to a blockbuster-level drama even before its premiere, placing it squarely at the center of this year's OTT buzz.

Starring Jun Ji Hyun and Kang Dong Won, 'Tempest' garnered particular attention for its dazzling casting. The series marks Kang Dong-won’s first return to the small screen since Magic in 2004, making it one of the most highly anticipated comebacks of the year.

Meanwhile, 'Knock-Off' a massive-budget drama starring Kim Soo Hyun initially scheduled for late 2025, has reportedly been delayed indefinitely.
