Producer MC Mong has decided to halt his activities in Korea and study abroad.
On July 17 KST, MC Mong wrote via his SNS, "I have been suffering from severe depression and health problems resulting from a surgery, to the point that I could not work on music."
He continued, "Please pay no mind to the rumors going around. I've simply made a decision that will help me pursue music longer. I will be leaving One Hundred and Big Planet Made, two companies I love, in the hands of Cha Ga Won, to recover my health and pursue my individual growth. I will be going abroad to study."
The producer also added on, "I also have plans to release an album this year. Afterward, I want to focus on studying music and language. It is my last exercise of greed."
Finally, MC Mong relayed, "It was a dream to work as a creator and producer. I was so happy, and I still have much affection for those I worked with. I wish them the best."
Previously, it was revealed that MC Mong had stepped down from his position as executive producer at One Hundred following former The Boyz member Ju Hak Nyeon's private life controversy.
