Members of girl group T-ARA marked the 16th anniversary of their debut on July 29 with emotional tributes and nostalgic reflections.
Jiyeon took to Instagram, posting a photo of herself alongside fellow members Hyomin,
, and Qri, all dressed in matching outfits with their backs to the camera. She captioned the image simply, “16TH ANNIVERSARY,” drawing attention from fans for their enduring bond.
Hyomin also commemorated the day, writing, “It’s already our 16th debut anniversary. Time flies,” along with a set of throwback photos and videos from their early days. In her usual playful tone, she joked, “This is the best resolution we’ve got? It’s not even from 50 years ago,” and affectionately labeled the post, “Latte debut 16th anniversary,” using a Korean slang term referencing older generations.
Eunjung shared a photo of her personal album collection and wrote, “Our albums are always kept on one side of my bookshelf. Every moment spent as part of T-ARA is precious and I’m truly grateful.”
Former member Soyeon, who left the group in 2017, also shared her thoughts: “It’s already the 16th anniversary. Time passed even faster this past year. Thank you for remembering my voice and loving it. I’m grateful to all the fans who continue to support me.”
Debuting on July 29, 2009, T-ARA rose to fame with a string of hit songs including “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “TTL (Time to Love),” “Roly Poly,” “Sexy Love,” and “Crazy Because of You.” Since the departure of Boram and Soyeon in 2017, the group has continued promotions as a four-member team with Jiyeon, Hyomin, Eunjung, and Qri.
