Soyou recently addressed plastic surgery rumors.
On July 22, Soyou held a live broadcast on her social media and responded to speculation about having undergone plastic surgery.
When a fan commented, "Stop losing weight," Soyou replied, "I'm not trying to lose more. I'm just working to maintain it. I've been so busy with my schedule that I haven't been eating properly. So, I think I've been losing a bit more weight as a result." She added, "The last time I weighed myself, I was 52kg. I think I shouldn't lose anymore. It feels like the weight is dropping because things are so hectic."
Previously, Soyou appeared on the YouTube channel 'ZzanBro' with a noticeably different appearance, sparking rumors about plastic surgery. In response, Soyou shut them down by saying, “The inner corner of my eyes? That’s makeup. My lips? That’s overlining.”
She continued, “Do my eyes look different? If people see it that way, I’m thankful. If it seems like I got something done to my eyes, it just means I’ve gotten prettier, so I’m grateful. I saw comments saying I had a nose job or fillers in my lips. I wondered if I really looked that different, but when I compared recent photos to older ones, I had lost quite a bit of weight.”
She also clarified, “My double eyelids are natural. I was born with them,” and added, “My jawline has become slimmer. It feels rewarding to have lost the weight,” expressing satisfaction with her weight loss.
Meanwhile, Soyou recently revealed that she had lost 10kg, saying, “I think I’m even skinnier than I was during my SISTAR days. My hips used to be 40 inches, and this is the first time I’ve had so little volume.”
