SHINee’s Key to make solo comeback this August.
According to industry sources on July 2nd KST, SHINee’s Key is currently preparing for a solo comeback, targeting a release in August.
This marks Key’s return as a solo artist for the first time in about a year, following the release of his mini album 'Pleasure Shop' in September of last year. It will also come just over three months after the release of the anniversary single 'Poet | Artist', which celebrated SHINee’s 17th debut anniversary in May.
During his previous solo promotions, Key touched fans when he took first place on MBC’s 'Music Core' and shed tears on stage. At the time, he shared, “At this point in my career, it’s not easy to win first place even once, so I’m deeply grateful.”
Now, one year later, Key is finalizing preparations for his solo comeback and is expected to greet fans in late summer.
Meanwhile, he is currently appearing on MBC’s 'I Live Alone' and tvN’s 'Amazing Saturday'.
