AHOF
(All-time Hall Of Famer), the 9-member boy group formed through SBS and F&F Entertainment’s survival show "Universe League", makes a strong statement with their debut mini-album ‘WHO WE ARE’, this July 1, 2025. The lineup: Steven, Seo Jeongwoo, Cha Woongki, Zhang Shuaibo, Park Han, JL, Park Juwon, Chih En, and Daisuke may be fresh on the scene, but some of them are already familiar faces, carrying their experiences as previously debuted idols and artists.

The album was fully produced by renowned producer EL CAPITXN, known for his sleek, emotive arrangements. Cha Woongki also contributed to the lyrics of the title track, credited as a lyricist, which demonstrates their emotional connection to the music.

Let’s take a closer look at the tracks that make up their debut album.

"The Little Star"

The mini-album begins on a soft, nostalgic note with “The Little Star,” an intro track that reimagines the childhood lullaby “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". With dreamy instrumentals and vocals that match, it sets the stage for the emotional lyrics reflecting their journey as stars coming from different backgrounds and are now walking hand-in-hand towards their dreams. Although brief, it instantly showcases AHOF’s vocal tone and emotional delivery, giving listeners a gentle introduction to their story.

"The Universe"

Bright and playful, “The Universe” is a feel-good track that celebrates friendship, youth, and chasing dreams together. With an addictive beat and vibrant vocal delivery, the song plays out like a coming-of-age movie in musical form. Its Korean title, "Blue School, Green Grass, Red Sneakers", references the colors of the teams from Universe League, where AHOF was formed, with references to Team Beat, Groove, and Rhythm cleverly woven into the lyrics. Uplifting and full of heart, it’s the kind of track that captures AHOF’s ability to connect through energy and emotion, making it an instant fan favorite.

"Rendezvous"

Serving as the title track, “Rendezvous” stands as the emotional centerpiece of the album. With band-style instrumentals, heartfelt lyrics, and a subtle touch of angst, it delivers a powerful and lasting impression. It paints a vivid picture of longing and yearning, brought to life by expressive vocals and perfectly executed rap verses, each delivered with remarkable control and depth. The accompanying music video elevates the track further, combining cinematic visuals with its wistful tone. Adding to its emotional weight, member Cha Woongki participated in writing the lyrics, giving this debut single a deeply personal edge.

"Incompleted"

“Incompleted” leans into the soft R&B-pop genre, offering smooth, polished production that complements its emotionally introspective lyrics. The song explores the idea of embracing imperfections in love and finding beauty in what’s unfinished. It’s a standout B-side that allows the members to showcase vulnerability and emotional depth. With layered vocals and heartfelt verses that gently tug at the heartstrings, the track is both soothing and sincere, which is a clear display of AHOF’s versatility.

"Cosmic Underdog"

“Cosmic Underdog” is a vibrant, feel-good track that turns nervous beginnings into a celebration of moving forward. The lyrics speak to anyone who’s ever felt unsure but chose to try anyway, filled with trembling hearts, quiet determination, and the courage to smile through the fear. Backed by a synth-pop groove, playful falsettos, and confident rap lines, the song brings out the group's youthful charm without losing its emotional weight.

"AHOF"

Closing the album is “AHOF,” a thoughtful outro track that doubles as a message to the fans and listeners. Each member delivers the message in various languages, paying homage to their roots, Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Filipino, giving the album a personal and global touch. It’s a soft, meaningful way to end the EP, not with a bang, but with warmth and sincerity. It's a reminder that AHOF's journey is only just beginning, and they’re bringing fans along for the ride.

With ‘WHO WE ARE’, AHOF delivers a debut that’s polished, emotional, and refreshingly genuine. The group offers a wide emotional palette while maintaining a clear identity.

They may be rookies, but the group is showcasing their amazing potential, raising expectations for their future albums and tracks.
