CRAVITY members have humorously addressed their recent concept photos for their upcoming comeback.
As reported, the latest set of concept photos for the Starship Entertainment boy group's comeback has sparked debate among fans and netizens for its "strange" and "unconventional" look, featuring the members emerging from eggshells covered in a mucus-like, residual liquid. Netizens commented that the liquid almost looks like "runny nose."
The photos quickly became a hot topic on online forums, where fans openly expressed their disappointment toward the creative production team for picturing the members in such a "questionable visual concept."

Soon after, netizens discovered that one of the members, Minhee, directly addressed the issue through his fan communication outlet, Bubble.
On Bubble, Minhee shared that he himself was "most shocked" by the concept while filming and admitted that he "wanted to go home."

He wrote:
"The schedule that I said I laughed a lot about was this one, to shoot those concept photos that came out today... I was the first one to shoot then... and I was the most shocked. Um... how I felt? I really wanted to go home."
Another fan shared that in the chat, Minhee explained how the members had a difficult time shooting because of the slimy liquid, which made them slip and fall easily, unintentionally pushing each other.
Minhee said, "We would unintentionally shove the person next to us... and say to each other, 'Oh, god, I am so sorry'... Then, it all became so funny that we basically thought of ourselves as human curling stones. (It's like we played curling with human bodies.) We tried to laugh it off as best we can. It was fun."

Meanwhile, member Jungmo reassured fans that there are still more concept photos yet to be revealed and that a story continues. He asked fans to keep looking forward to it and said they "worked really hard" to prepare for the album.
Members Taeyoung and Sungmin also added on Bubble that they were happy to be involved in an "experimental concept" and took it in stride.

Reading this, netizens reacted with a mix of amusement and sympathy, many continuing to criticize the company's production team for selecting the concept while feeling bad for Minhee and the members who remained kind-hearted and positive. Many also noted that the group gained attention and made headlines on forums as a result.
Reactions include:
"LOL the kids are cute… total positivity kings."
"I became more fond of them thanks to the members' reactions. The concept paid off."
"It was shocking, but at least now I definitely know they’re having a comeback..."
"Honestly, I was horrified when I saw the photos, but the members explained it so nicely and made it sound pretty, so my impression of the group improved lol."

"Honestly, it was almost pitifulㅠ whoever planned this was out of their mind."
"If it were me, I would’ve complained."
"Their mindset is great lol. They said they even took some pretty shots, so I’m looking forward to the next photos."
"Wouldn’t it have been enough to just give an ‘emerging from the egg’ vibe? Did they really have to go full slime? But… if you’re happy, then okay… lol."
"It definitely became a huge topic and thanks to that, I found out about their comeback lol."
