Kim Boa, leader of the girl group SPICA, is getting married this summer.
According to a report by Sports Donga on May 14, Kim Boa will tie the knot with her boyfriend, a composer who is four years younger, on July 17 at a private venue in Seoul.
In a wedding invitation message shared publicly, the couple wrote, “It didn’t take long for us to believe that we could fill each other’s gaps. That moment people talk about—‘This is the one’—found its way to us, and we’re nothing but grateful. We’d be so happy if you cheered us on as we take our first step from two to one.”
Kim Boa debuted as the leader of SPICA in 2012. Even before her debut, she gained attention for her vocals by working as a guide and chorus singer for albums by major artists such as T-ara, KARA, Girls’ Generation, and Insooni.
She was especially known as the junior labelmate of Lee Hyori, and gained fame through the reality show Hyori’s X Sister, where she was affectionately referred to as part of “Hyori’s little sister girl group.”
