Rising boy group RIIZE is treating fans to a series of stunning performances through YouTube content and major music shows this week.
On May 21st at 9 PM KST, RIIZE will appear in the 'MOVE TO PERFORMANCE' series on Mnet Digital Studio’s M2 YouTube channel. They will then hit the music show circuit, performing their latest title track "Fly Up" on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ (May 22), KBS2’s ‘Music Bank’ (May 23), MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ (May 24), and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo’ (May 25).
‘Fly Up’, the title track from RIIZE’s first full album, is a dance song that draws inspiration from 1950s rock and roll. Its vibrant rhythm and expansive choir harmonies illustrate the group’s message of breaking barriers through music and dance, connecting with people across the world.
The performance was crafted by globally renowned choreographer Nick Bass, famed K-pop choreographer Choi Young Joon, and dance crew ChillLit. The stage blends ‘youth musical’ energy with vivid member character moments, elaborate formations, and an iconic “flying” arm move that mirrors the song’s title and message.
In addition to ‘Fly Up’, RIIZE will also perform two fan-favorite B-sides. On May 22nd and 25th, they will showcase the high-energy dance track ‘Ember to Solar’, while May 23rd and 24th will feature their charismatic hip-hop number ‘Bag Bad Back’.
RIIZE is dominating domestic and global charts with this comeback. ‘Fly Up’ recently peaked at No. 3 on Melon TOP100, No. 1 on HOT100, No. 1 on Bugs real-time chart, and No. 1 on VIBE rising chart. Their album topped Hanteo’s daily album chart, QQ Music’s digital album sales chart in China with a Platinum certification, and AWA Japan’s real-time rising chart.
