On May 7 at 1 PM (KST), "See U Tonight (feat. YUNAH & MINJU of ILLIT)", the new single from Disney star Kylie Cantrall featuring ILLIT members Yunah and Minju, was released.
"See U Tonight" is a playful track that captures the push-and-pull tension between two people who are into each other. With a punchy beat and energetic vibe, the track blends Minju’s unique tone and Yunah’s powerful vocals to create a dynamic harmony.
This collaboration came about through Kylie Cantrall’s personal outreach. “I’ve been watching ILLIT climb the global charts and became really intrigued by their trendy music style,” she said.
Minju shared through Belift Lab, “Back when I was a trainee, I practiced with Kylie Cantrall’s songs, so it’s truly surreal and an honor to collaborate with her. The song fits my preferred vocal style, so recording it was a lot of fun.” Yunah added, “I paid special attention to my ad-libs to help create the best possible result. It’s the perfect refreshing song for hot weather—please give it lots of love.”
The accompanying music video, also released today, features all ILLIT members. Built around a FaceTime concept between Kylie Cantrall and ILLIT, the video is brimming with youthful charm and modern sensibility. The artists interact warmly and showcase the song’s highlight choreography, demonstrating a natural chemistry.
Kylie Cantrall is a rising global star known for her lead role in the 2024 Disney+ original movie 'Descendants: The Rise of Red' and her work as a singer-songwriter. ILLIT, which debuted in March of last year, quickly earned the title of “super rookie” thanks to the massive success of their debut track "Magnetic". The song was the first-ever K-pop debut to enter both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100.
The meeting of these two short-form content powerhouses is expected to generate strong buzz among teen and Gen Z listeners.
Meanwhile, ILLIT will hold their first fan concert, '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL', on June 7–8 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul’s Olympic Park. All seats for both dates sold out during the presale, once again proving the group’s growing popularity.
