According to industry insiders on May 27th KST, BLACKPINK recently completed a photoshoot for their upcoming album jacket at a location in Seoul. This marks their first comeback as a full group in nearly three years since the release of their second full-length album 'Born Pink' on September 16th, 2022.
The album is reportedly being produced under the direct supervision of YG Entertainment’s executive producer Yang Hyun Suk, who is said to be pouring significant effort into the project. The album jacket shoot is rumored to have been executed on a global scale, reflecting the group’s international stature.
On May 26th KST, Yang Hyun Suk hinted at the group’s return via the YG blog, stating, “It seems we’ll soon be able to share news about BLACKPINK’s new song.” Given that the jacket shoot has already been completed, it’s likely the group is preparing for a full-scale album release, rather than just a single.
With all four members — Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa — having successfully completed their solo endeavors, they are now expected to shift into full-group mode and accelerate their preparations for the comeback.
