Actor Jang Geun Suk is set to open up about his changed perspective on marriage following his recent health struggles, in the upcoming episode of 'My Little Old Boy,' airing on April 27 at 9 PM (KST) on SBS.
On April 25, SBS teased Jang’s appearance, describing him as “the ultimate self-lover” and hinting at a candid and entertaining episode.
Jang Geun Suk, who recently revealed his battle with thyroid cancer, shared, “When I was first diagnosed, I couldn’t help but ask, ‘Why is this happening to me?’ I even felt resentment at times.” He added that the experience led him to adopt a healthier lifestyle and put more focus on self-care.
Previously known for saying he wanted to become a father before 40, Jang now says, “There’s a reason I should only get married after 40.” His heartfelt reasoning resonated with the cast, one of whom agreed, “Yes, that’s when you meet your true soulmate.”
Confident in his ability to win hearts, Jang also shared his extravagant vision for a dream wedding, even revealing that he’s already picked the venue. He went on to outline three detailed wedding plans.
MC Seo Jang Hoon, surprised by the scale of the plans, jokingly advised, “If you're going that big, just get married at Gocheok Sky Dome!”
