On March 24, Jaejoong shared a post on his social media, announcing, "A new life has joined my niece's family. In 10 months, I will become a grandpa (granduncle)," along with a photo.
The revealed image shows Jaejoong adorably pursing his lips with his eyes tightly shut. He humorously added, "The first idol grandpa," showcasing his signature wit.
As the youngest of one brother and eight sisters, Jaejoong has a total of 13 nieces and nephews.
Previously, in 2023, Jaejoong appeared on KBS 2TV’s 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant,' where he shared glimpses of his life with his large family.
At the time, his eldest sister, who is 20 years older than him, hinted at the upcoming birth by saying, "He'll soon be a grandpa (granduncle)."
Meanwhile, Jaejoong recently founded the entertainment agency iNKODE Entertainment, where he is actively working as a producer and businessman.
The agency is home to artists such as child actress Oh Ji Yul, actor Jung Si Hyun, Lee Ji Hoon, Kim Min Jae, and Nicole. As a producer, Jaejoong also introduced the seven-member girl group SAY MY NAME last year.
