Actor Choi Daniel will be joining SBS's 'Running Man' as a new special member.
Choi Daniel recently took part in a recording of Running Man, completing his first shoot as the latest addition to the show's special member lineup. To welcome him, the production team prepared a themed race. The cast warmly greeted his arrival, raising expectations for fun chemistry and exciting interactions.
Choi Daniel previously appeared on the show in the 'Team Kill' race with actress Jeon So Min and the 'My Perfect Consumption' race. He delighted viewers with a more relaxed, comedic side and even earned the nickname 'Gwang Daniel', a bespectacled nod to Lee Kwang Soo.
PD Choi Hyung In, who directs Running Man, said, “He may have a polished image, but he has plenty of weak points and talks even more than the regular members.” He added, “Choi Daniel fit in with the team right from his first shoot. You can look forward to seeing an even more entertaining side of him.”
The Running Man special member system is a first-of-its-kind approach in variety shows. Actors Kang Hoon and Ji Ye Eun previously took part, and Ji Ye Eun is now an official cast member.
Choi Daniel’s appearance as a special member will air on Running Man on the 6th of next month at 6:10 PM KST.
