SHINee's Taemin has filed a lawsuit against malicious commenters.
On February 6, Big Planet Made stated, "We have been collecting reports from fans and conducting our own monitoring. We have gathered evidence of malicious posts and comments directed at Taemin."
The agency identified harmful posts across multiple well-known online communities, including X, Daum Café (Women's Generation, SoulDresser), Nate Pann, Theqoo, Instiz, DC Inside, and anonymous Q&A pages. Big Planet Made stated the collected evidence has been submitted to investigative authorities, requesting an investigation into defamation, the spread of false information, sexual harassment, and insults against Taemin.
Big Planet Made expressed gratitude to fans, saying, "The reports and materials provided by fans have been very helpful." The agency also reaffirmed its commitment to taking strong legal action against malicious posts. The company stated that it would not offer leniency or settlements. The agency emphasized, "We will respond firmly and continue to do our best to protect our artist."
