Kim Dae Ho, the MBC announcer, revealed his decision to go freelance on the show 'I Live Alone,' and MBC has since shared its official stance.
On February 1, a spokesperson from MBC responded to OSEN regarding Kim Dae Ho,'s resignation, stating, "After confirming with Kim Dae Ho,, we learned that he is currently in discussions with the company about the resignation process." They added, "However, it's difficult to confirm the exact resignation date or future schedule at this time."
On the previous day, January 31, during 'I Live Alone,' Kim Dae Ho, surprised viewers when he revealed to Kian84 and Lee Jang Woo, who were invited to his housewarming party, that he had already informed the company of his decision to resign. "I didn't just think about it; I already told the company," he confessed, leading to a shocked response from the studio members.
Kim Dae Ho, explained that the decision to resign was based on various factors, saying, "There are many reasons, but it's something everyone must have thought about at least once—wondering what life would be like if I left the company." He continued, "I’m grateful that this opportunity came up. It may not be the best timing in my life, but I feel like it's the moment to take control of my life. I’m confident this decision will be one of the most exciting moments in my life."
However, the resignation process is still ongoing, and Kim Dae Ho remains affiliated with MBC’s announcer division. It has been reported that as he navigates the resignation process, he is also discussing whether to continue or leave his ongoing roles in MBC programs.
Kim Dae Ho joined MBC in 2011 as part of the 30th class of announcers, following the network’s 50th anniversary special, New Employees. Since then, he has gained popularity by appearing in a wide range of programs, from entertainment to news.
